RESTORING YOUR FAMILY'S VISUAL HISTORY
Our cornerstone service is digitally copying and restoring your irreplaceable family photos. We produce a finished product that is better than the original. See the example on the right and our Samples page.Using our services gives you:
- Much better copies of these family records.
- Multiple copies of your family history, both for security and to share with others.
- A great way to share and pass along to future generations your family history.
And they make great gifts.
Also you'll find our prices are much, much less than your local photo shop or drug store.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
We scan your old photos to create digital images. We then retouch and restore the images, write them to a CD/DVD and send this to you together with your original photos. You receive copies on a CD or DVD, to print yourself or at any local photo shop. We can also create a slide show, with your wording added if you wish.ARE YOU A SCRAPBOOKER?
Get retouched and restored copies of photos you would love to put into a scrapbook without using the originals.WHY YOU SHOULD DO THIS
In most families there's usually only one copy of any photo of previous generations. If that photo is destroyed or lost a slice of your family history is gone for all time.Several recent studies have shown that, given the choice of saving one precious thing from their home, most people will rescue family pictures over other memorabilia.
WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES?
In the event of a catastrophe, you can take the CD/DVD to any photo lab and have prints made. Remember, these prints will be better than the originals. You can also print copies yourself at home. Please store the CD/DVD in a safe place, such as a safe deposit box, between catastrophes. Facetious? Yes, but we hope you get the point. In 2004, Florida was ravaged by five hurricanes; remembering that Florida is a premium retirement area, consider how many photos of generations dating back to the Civil War era were destroyed.
